Shipping policy

Shipping within Japan

Orders are sent by Yu-Packet for mailbox delivery or by courier for hand delivery. Courier orders are sent by Yamato Transport or Yu-Pack; the carrier cannot be selected.

Dispatch and delivery estimates

We normally dispatch orders within three business days after confirmation. If your coffee needs to be roasted, dispatch may take up to ten business days, depending on our roasting schedule.

Estimated delivery times within Japan are one to three days after dispatch for Yu-Packet and one to two days for courier deliveries.

Shipping charges within Japan

Yu-Packet postage is ¥380 or ¥760, depending on your order. Courier delivery costs ¥880, or ¥1,180 for Hokkaido and Okinawa. The shipping charge for your order is shown at checkout.

International delivery

Available destinations and shipping charges are shown at checkout. We use Japan Post International Air Packet or International Parcel (Air), depending on the order.

International Air Packet includes tracking and normally arrives in your mailbox. Parcels subject to customs charges and other exceptions may require a different delivery arrangement. Larger orders travel by International Parcel (Air); mailbox delivery is not guaranteed.

Uncollected parcels and incorrect addresses

If a parcel is returned because the carrier's holding period has expired or the address is incorrect, an additional shipping charge is required to resend it.

Returns and exchanges

For food products, we accept claims for defects or incorrect items. We do not accept food returns for a change of mind.

Unused equipment and merchandise may be returned if you contact us within seven days of delivery.

Return shipping and refunds

We cover return shipping costs. We issue refunds to your original payment method within five business days after receiving and checking the returned items.
